Jamaican television personality Anthony Miller, describes her as “Hard Not To Love” and this best reflects Denyque’s goal as a musician – to make the world fall in love with her and her music.

Although she’s from Jamaica, the home of reggae and dancehall music, Denyque considers herself a pop artist as her music borrows different elements from various sounds including R&B

Denyque is now ready to introduce herself to the world stage with her latest single, “Slowly”. The EP is expected to drop in August and the musician has initiated a summer campaign to lead up to its release.

Denyque is now focused on putting together a compilation that will appeal to an international market and has already decided on two songs for the EP – “Make Me Believe You” and “Slowly”. A video has already been shot for the former, which is being touted as the lead single from the EP

The passionate performer got her foot in the proverbial door in 2009 when she recorded her first single “Can’t Breathe”. Since then, Denyque has grown tremendously and has firmly stepped into the entertainment stratosphere under the guidance and watchful eye of her manager and industry big-wig.

Jade Lee Lee is responsible for jump starting Denyque’s career and was instrumental in the singer picking up one of Jamaica’s most prestigious accolades – the Excellence in Music (EME) award for Best New Artiste 2010

Lee was also behind Denyque’s debut on the African continent which saw her performing for more than 4000 fans in Kenya. Now both artiste and manager have their sights set on conquering both the North American and European markets before seducing the rest of the world.

Already listed as one of Complex Magazine’s “Top 25 Sexiest International Singers”, Denyque has not only been honing her sound, but also her image. This confident risk-taker has always taken an experimental approach to her image and is not afraid to reinvent her look to channel her current style.

Denyque is hoping that the release of her upcoming EP will set the tone for world domination and the artiste is working hard to make her crossover onto the international stage a memorable and successful one
