Morgan Heritage, Freddie McGregor & Romain Virgo

Morgan Heritage, the Grammy winning Royal Family Of Reggae, have been busy touring
the world behind their latest album Loyalty, featuring current hits Africa X Jamaica and Beach & Country.

Their live show is phenomenal. All three Morgan brothers – Peetah, Gramps and Mojo – play instruments,
as well as sing, rap and harmonise on songs old and new, and that encompass all kinds of styles, whilst
building on their reggae and R & B foundations. Many of them have since become internationally known reggae classics.

Don’t Haffi Dread, Down By The River, She’s Still Loving Me, Reggae Bring Back Love, A Man Is Still A Man
and Tell Me How Come are among the highlights but the quality and consistency of this group’s output since
they took reggae music by storm during the mid-90s is unrivalled.

The SPECIAL GUEST acts on these eagerly awaited UK dates regularly headline their own shows,
but the chemistry that happens when these singers all share the same bill is really something special.
Freddie McGregor’s career started in the 60s, when he was a child star in Jamaica with the Clarendonians.
That was during the ska era at Coxsone Dodd’s famous Studio One, where the young Freddie learnt his
craft and recorded hits like Bobby Babylon and I’m Ready. Now an elder statesman, he’s continued voicing
hits ever since, with Big Ship, Push Comes To Shove, Prophesy and the international chart smash,
Just Don’t Want To Be Lonely, being among the best known.

Romain Virgo always was an outstanding singer, even before becoming the youngest-ever winner of Jamaica’s
leading TV talent show. Right from the start, he brought soul and quality to everything he did, as heard on early
hits Mi Caan Sleep, Soul Provider and Stay With Me. Fast forward a few years and he’s now the finished article,
brimming with talent and confidence, both as a singer and songwriter, and with reggae blockbusters Love Sick, Now,
Trouble, Leave People Business Alone and Melanin to his credit.
