Buses to and from the city centre are available nearby and numbers 1, 3, 8 and 9 all stop at College Green, from Bristol Temple Meads, just 150 metres away.
Bus numbers 19, X74, 70 and 12C all run from the University of West England (UWE) to the city centre, less than 500 metres away.
Night buses
Night buses are also available during those early hours (after midnight) from various city centre stops, some 24/7.
Virtually all buses are now accessible in Bristol, with low floor access and ramps. You can find more information at First.
By train
Bristol Temple Meads railway station is the largest railway station in Bristol. The other main-line station is Bristol Parkway.
Temple Meads is serviced mainly by First Great Western for services to London (as well as South West trains), with local services to destinations such as Cardiff Central, Southampton, Portsmouth and Weymouth. Cross Country offer connections for longer distances all over the UK.
Accessible facilities
Temple Meads has staff assistance, induction loops, step free ticket office and lifts to all platforms (no dropped kerb at entrance) and around 1,700 metres away.
Parking and by car
We’re easy to get to by all major approach roads, including the M5, M32, A4, M4 and A38.
Street parking is limited, so we recommend parking next in the Trenchard Street multi-storey car park, just 150 metres away.
The postcode for your sat nav is BS1 5AN.
Prices vary with timings and it can get quite busy so check prices at the pay-machines.
We do not have our own parking facilities, but there are a handful of options on Frogmore Street and St George’s Road.
We have a drop off point at the entrance of our venue and there are accessible parking bays in the 24 hour Trenchard Street car park, which has lift access to Frogmore Street.
By bike
Look out for bike racks in local streets if pedal power’s your thing. There is bike rack across the road from us and several at the bottom of Park Street.
Taxi
Always plan your journey in advance. You can find and pre-book a minicab and find the cheapest fares with minicabit
Venue opening times
We’ll have opening times and curfew times if they’re out of the ordinary for seasoned gig-goers (7pm-11pm) on the event page of this website and on our social channels, too. All timings are subject to change, so check before you travel.
Facilities
We have bars (of course), a cloakroom to leave your stuff and if you’re visiting us for the first time, just ask any of our friendly staff to show you the way. Please try and travel light as cloakroom facilities are limited, so if you really need to bring a bag, please make sure that it is small (laptop size or small handbag).
It’s always best to check the age restrictions for each event in advance as they vary from show to show.
No under 8s please (think about it), but feel free to contact us if you’re unsure and avoid disappointment.
8-13 years, you’ll need to attend with an adult (18+) but check the event details.
If it says 14+, 16+, 18+, 21+… be sure to check before you book and remember to carry proof of age if you need it. Find out what we accept in our FAQs.
